Juventus took a big step up in competition level in its third friendly of the preseason. It wasn’t all that great and there was plenty of freaking out, but was it really necessary? On this week’s episode of The Old Lady Speaks: Juventus lost 3-0 to Barcelona and we clearly lose our heads about it. Well, not really. We try and find some positives — or not dwell on the negatives — from Juve’s loss to Barcelona this past weekend. There are a lot of preseason trophies, but unfortunately Juventus won’t win them all this summer because of said loss to Barcelona. Looking ahead to the final friendly of the preseason this weekend against Atalanta. The Manuel Locatelli deal could be done this weekend.
