The old Merida Insane Asylum

In white Merida, capital of Yucatan, where history merges with legend, stands an imposing building, charged with an eerie silence and an oppressive atmosphere: the old Merida Insane Asylum. Its walls, peeling and cold, hold echoes of pain, despair and madness, stories that whisper in the dark, stories that freeze the blood. A young journalist, eager for shocking stories, decides to delve into the mystery surrounding the asylum. Tired of the monotony of his job, he convinces his editor to allow him to investigate the rumors of paranormal events surrounding the place. He sets out on his journey, never imagining that he is about to cross the line between reality and madness. As night falls, on his way to the hotel where he will be staying, his car breaks down on a desolate road. The only sign of life in sight is the grim silhouette of the asylum, silhouetted against the night sky. Despite his fear, he decides to approach, hoping to find help.
