God calls His people to true repentance—hearts torn, not garments—and promises restoration and the outpouring of His Spirit on all people. Malachi delivers the final warning, and then comes 400 years of silence. Yet in that silence, God is at work: kingdoms rise and fall, languages and roads are prepared, and a deep hunger for His Word grows.
