Its creation has an American focus and will work as a springboard for other countries to follow suit – adapting it to fit their own needs. Ultimately, Madeleine, Christina, and the rest of the SBR team would like to convene a UN Convention for Singles Bill of Rights, and create a Universal Bill of Rights for Singles.Madeleine is a Lead Project Assistant for an engineering firm, a scandalous divorcee/born again Spinster, a single dog mom, and a self-guided researcher and writer regarding feminism and women’s creativity. She is currently working on a comparative study of women writers and an almanac of women writers across cultures and history, in addition to working on the Singles Bill of Rights.Christina co-founded the singles' advocacy blog Onely, long before singles’ rights were cool. Her articles about marital status discrimination have appeared in The Atlantic and elsewhere. She is seeking representation for her memoir about invisible illness, which contains award-winning essays on physical and mental health.
