The One Thing - Audio
from Chiangmai Christian Fellowship · host Tim Dunham
How do we keep our life balanced and well ordered? Life can so easily spin out of control - leaving us feeling burned out, anxious and stressed. We know that sin can turn life upside down, but how is it that we can end up with a life that is so chaotic when we are working hard to serve God and build His kingdom? The problem is that we often get too busy doing many good things, that we completely fail to do the one vitally important thing! The only way our life can be rightly ordered, is if we know that the only truly necessary thing is Jesus. It is vital that we CHOOSE daily to make Jesus the absolute Lord of our life. If He is truly Lord of our life, we will make the study and application of His Word the single priority in our life. But it is not enough to just read the Bible, we must read it with a heart to do all that it says. In this way Jesus alone will be the organizing center of our being.
