The One Thing

Luke 10: 38 - 42 This week at Veritas, we looked at the story of Mary and Martha and what Jesus has to say to us when life leaves us distracted, worried, and pulled in a hundred different directions. So often, we turn to our phones, relationships, achievements, or busyness looking for peace. But Jesus invites us to something better: to slow down, sit at his feet, and choose Him, the one thing that can’t be taken from us. Jesus doesn’t just want us to be less anxious; he wants us to be fully alive, and that life is found in him.
