The One Thing to Look For in Your Church

When choosing a church, friendliness, music and convenience can easily outweigh the purpose of preaching. Paul tells Timothy to preach Scripture because God uses His word to teach truth, expose sin, bring correction and train people for good works. Faithful preaching may be uncomfortable. Yet conviction is not its final aim: Jesus heals and restores those whose need has been uncovered.
