Jules Muck aka Muckrock is an artist known all over the world. She started out using spray paint growing up around NYC at a young age. Eventually became a way for her to support her drug habit. She spent many years in addiction, including being on a roof in NYC blocks away from the World Trade Centers and watched the second plane hit from the roof. I met Jules when I was newly sober and would attend meetings in her front yard in Venice every Saturday night. Now that yard is known as “muck recovery” or “the yard”.
