Bad Bangers: Live at The Bearded Lady, West End, 22 December 2018 Previously featured on episode 266 of Live Delay, Bad Bangers is the project of Alex Campbell and Joe Hanmer. Continuing the riot grrrl/punk trajectory of her previous band GUNK, Campbell teamed up with drummer Hanmer in 2015 and began making some noise together. Their ten-track, self-titled EP was recorded in a single day and released in January 2016. This was followed in 2018 by the "Hooray For Everything" EP. Since then Campbell and Hanmer have been more involved in the somewhat gentler and folkier band Full Power Happy Hour, with Bad Bangers emerging only for occasional shows. Their instrumental post-rock stylings have proven quite popular with local audiences since emerging in mid-2019.
