The issue isn’t to win an argument or to be loudest voice in the room; the issue is to be faithful to Jesus. III. STEADFAST IN HIS SOLITUDE (Mark 16:66-72) Mark places Peter’s denial around Jesus’ confession so we can see the difference between the Savior we need and the disciples that we are. Reflect: Have you ever been more confident in your spiritual strength than you should have been? Jesus is faithful in the very place where his disciples fail.
