The One Who Sovereignly Saves: God and His Covenant with Abraham (Gen. 15:1-17)

God promises Abram that he will make him a great nation and that ultimately all the families of the earth will be blessed because of him. Exactly what this means is not clear at this point of history, but it is undeniably good news. What fallen humanity deserves is judgment and wrath, but what God promises is blessing.
