The one with a toe sucker

from ROCK MORNINGS · host Brian Simpson

What a week! The weather was drastically improved, we talked to our Big Bikes parents, and we announced another show at Copeland Park & Events Center! Speaking of Big Bikes parents, our Monday Morning Throwback was from our in-studio interview with Elliot Heller(our 2016 Big Bikes kid) and his parents. Our Monday edition of "Bad News with Happy Music" included the mystery of the 500lbs of pasta in the woods getting solved, a woman who bought a house with a bunch of snakes living in the walls, a pest control worker who pissed on a family's couch & their floor, and a FORMER hotel manager that got busted sucking a guest's toes while they were sleeping. A recent survey found that 14% of people prefer their home smells like bleach, and a woman survived for five days after her car broke down with nothing but a bottle of wine & some lollipops! We celebrated National Shrimp Day on Wednesday by talking about how many shrimp Shaw could eat in one sitting(it was 4.....MAYBE 5), and he actually aced this week's "You're killin' me, Shaws"! We talked about tipping fatigue, and our Wednesday edition of "Bad News with Happy Music" included a the story about a woman who wrote a children's book about dealing with grief...but is now suspected of killing her own husband, a story about a Spirit Airlines flight that left early, and a drunk driver that got popped while wearing a Bud Light costume. We talked about an influencer who is charging $1 per minute to be her boyfriend virtually...and we talked about Mother's Day! Plus, a new list of things to do in & around La Crosse this weekend!See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
