The One With Dayo Ackinrinade

Today, I am beyond honored to introduce you to Dayo Akinrinade! Dayo is the creator and founder of the Wisdom App which is a social audio app that connects knowledge-seekers to mentors. She created this app with a desire to democratize knowledge because she believes that access to wisdom and knowledge should be a right, not a privilege. She knows that people tend to help those in their immediate network which is sadly how we keep knowledge, wisdom and access privileged. She’s created this app to provide a space for everyone to learn and grow, regardless of where they are and who they have access to. She started her career as an IT Management Consultant at Accenture and Deloitte. Then, driven by the lack of diversity in London’s tech ecosystem, she joined the founding team of OneTech, London’s largest diversity in startups program, backed by the JP Morgan Chase Foundation.  Subsequently, after spotting a gap in the market, she went on to found Africlick, a cultural dating app targeting 1 billion Africans globally. In 2019 she was named in the Financial Times Top 100 Most Influential Ethnic Minority Leaders in Tech.
