The Open Nest Evolving and Revolving Door with Tessa & Amir

from The Open Nesters

The Open Nest EVOLVING and REVOLVING Door with Tessa & Amir (Season 3 | Episode 119) [TESSA & AMIR] Every once and a while we get to treat ourselves to an episode with just the two of us. And it is such a joy (!) to get some ideas out into the open that have emanated from our recent podcast work. In this short podcast entry, we reach way back to our earliest episodes (could that really have been two years ago? !!!!) and share some of our favorite quotes and learnings. And, of course, we talk about… this idea… the evolving and revolving door. The Open Door We love the idea of the open door. And we, of course, embrace the word “open.” The Open Nest evolving and revolving door. It’s quite a concept. It has a fluidity to it. Change. Motion. Kinetic energy. It’s a far-reaching idea, and yet it can be quite real as well… like with our kids. They Come. They Go. They Stay For Dinner… Open Nesting for us, regarding the kids, means an open door. The kids can stay, live, hang out, and join us in activities as they like. We have a 24-year-old living at home, who is going to school, and it is a blessing for us. [AMIR] When Tessa is out of town my son and I are like a couple of bachelor roommates. We work out who is going to cook and clean up etc. And it has such a cool vibe to it.
