The Ordinary Elite is a Scottish podcast series brought to you from Glasgow by John McGovern and Mike Dailly. Both are Solicitor Advocates - John a criminal defence practitioner and Mike a civil litigation practitioner and social justice campaigner. In our first episode of 2024, we examine the week in Scottish & UK politics with a focus on the Post Office scandal. 3,500 sub-postmasters and mistresses wrongly accused of fraud and theft due to a faulty computer system over many years; 700 prosecutions; 236 people imprisoned - and so far few people have yet to have their convictions overturned or receive full financial redress.
