This week we discussed some of these early video games including Tennis for Two and the Magnavox Odyssey. Apple has finally opened the App Store up for video game streaming services. Previously, apps like Xbox Game Pass were blocked by the App Stores' policies because each and every video game included in the Game Pass collection would need to be Apple approved. This red tape has now been removed, opening the door for Game Pass, GeForce Now, and other services. Microsoft has cancelled a new Blizzard survival game that was in development after 6 years of development, alongside a flurry of layoffs that resulted in 1900 people being let go (8% of the gaming division's staff).
