Henry traces this further into early Eastern Christian iconography of the Messiah's Throne, the original symbol of Christianity before the cross, whose components, a platform, a cross as an instrument of transmutation, a robe of light, a flask of manna, and a jar of anointing oil, mirror the fully assembled Ark almost exactly, an image essentially unknown in Western Christianity today. He points to Revelation 10, where John the Revelator eats a book that turns bitter in his stomach after tasting like honey, a detail some researchers read as describing psilocybin mushroom consumption, immediately followed by a vision of the Ark in a heavenly throne. Henry connects Mary Magdalene to a lineage of women called the Miraflores, plant medicine experts later demonised as witches, and argues the psychedelic sacrament long predates Jesus by roughly 3,000 years, making its absence from his teaching implausible rather than the reverse.
