Veterans are an overlooked and underrepresented resource in U.S. societies according to veteran accounts. Mental health and institutional racism are discussed in the context of veteran experiences as they seek support from the services specifically designed for their access. Literacy, critical thinking skills, housing and nutrition of our youth are discussed as the education system tries to account for the needs of children under pressure from the current political, technological and cultural climate. The Other Page Radio brings us the real events impacting American lives and the strength our veterans can provide in offering solutions to the issues facing our communities.
