The Other Page Radio

The Other Page Radio hosts local upcoming candidates with one main question in mind: what do these public servants see in our communities that beckon their call to represent the people? Our host Haywood Fennell introduces candidates Sharon L. Hinton (Council District 5), Clifton A. Braitwaithe (Council At-large) and Domingos DeRosa (Mayor). The situating leading them to run office have led their drive as independent voices, activists and advocates into serving the community through non-partisan politics. Public safety, education and housing are big issues in the Boston area with many wishing to see changes in the city. The "Illusion of Inclusion", involvement in a democratic decision-making process, and voter disengagement are also discussed in highlighting the importance of voting and how politicians should be reflections of their communities, inspiring the next generations of voters.
