The Other Voice: Look Somewhere Else

When the Scriptures open up, we see the first human beings living in the presence of God...having everything they could ever need and everything they could ever want. And all is right in the world, but not for long. A voice calls out to them in a moment and it’s a voice that is unfortunately still going strong in our world, in our city, and in our hearts. And hear is what that voice began to say - “You need to look somewhere else. You’re missing out on the good stuff. God is holding out on you. He doesn’t want you to enjoy everything that could be yours for the taking.” And from this moment on, human beings - including you and me - have been looking outside of God to get what only God can give us. And I want to ask you a question that I intend to repeat in this episode- Where else are you looking for what only God can give you?
