Pamela Jo Bondi served as the 87th United States Attorney General from February 5, 2025, until her removal on April 2, 2026. A career prosecutor and the former Attorney General of Florida, she was nominated for the federal role after the initial candidate, Matt Gaetz, withdrew from consideration.
