John Kachuba is the award-winning author of twelve books of fiction and nonfiction. His most recent work, Shapeshifters: A History, was published in June 2019 and was a finalist in the Horror Writers Association’s Bram Stoker Award. A new middle-grade novel, Haycorn Smith and the Castle Ghost, will be published by Paper Angel Press in 2023. John holds MA degrees in Creative Writing from Antioch University Midwest and Ohio University and is a frequent speaker at conferences, universities, and libraries, and on podcasts, radio, and TV.
