The Oxford Group’s Five Procedures (part 1)

Send us Fan Mail In this episode I will be going over yet another group of tenets, or reminders from the Oxford group. The five items in this list are referred to as the five procedures. I’m not sure when, why, or where these lists of things or develop, but they seem to help the members of the Oxford group to stay on their spiritual course and become what seems to have been the main goal, changed. You may ask, why it is that I find the snippets from the Oxford group to be important. Well, this entire podcast is about the 12-step program in general, and how I use it as a way of life, in particular. I have found that every single one of these groups of ideas from the Oxford Group is related in some way to the 12 steps in the 12-step program. The closeness of the ideas in the two programs is undisputable. As far as I can see, the only difference between the two groups is that of the Oxford group being a strong advocate of Christianity. Otherwise, the two programs would be nearly indistinguishable, one from the other. Here is the Procedure list: The Five Procedures 1. Give in toGod. 2. Listen to God’s direction. 3.
