The Pain of Fruitfulness

Jesus said that He is the Vine and we are the branches. As such, we are to bear much fruit. But we seldom talk about the pain of fruitfulness. A vinedresser both prunes and redirects branches to help them produce more fruit. The process of becoming a fruitful Christian can be painful but it’s never harmful.
