First up, an independent report into the fatal landslide at Mount Maunganui say Tauranga City Council has deeply systemic flaws which led to the death if six people. The Panel talk to Dr Lauren Vinnell, an expert in natural hazard preparation from Massey University. Then, a new policy from ACT would see people working with children pay for a card that says they have been vetted to work with kids. Jacqui Southey is Save The Children NZ's Advocacy Director and she joins the panel to discuss the policy and if it's a good idea.
