The Parable of the Sower: It's a soil Issue

In this episode of Broken Road Radio, Jim, David, and Pastor Robbie Pruitt of Preserving Bible Times discuss Matthew 13 and the Parable of the Sower. Robbie brings rich historical and cultural context to the passage, starting with Jesus sitting by the sea to teach, which he explains as a rabbinic posture of authority.Preserving Bible Times is dedicated to preserving and presenting biblical truth through the understanding of the geographical, historical, cultural, literary and visual context of the Bible. At Preserving Bible Times our purpose is to preserve and present biblical truth. Our central thesis is that we should never ask what a passage means to us today until we first know what those words and phrases meant to those we meet in the Bible. For more biblical context resources, visit us at: https://preservingbibletimes.org Support our biblical context ministry with your generous financial gift here: https://preservingbibletimes.churchcenter.com/giving Purchase our Biblical Context Resources on Gumroad here: https://preservingbibletimes.gumroad.com
