The Paradox of Achievement

from Spark Your Light · host Jaclyn DiGregorio

"This episode was inspired by a transformational personal experience I had two weeks ago. We recently achieved a really big goal that we had been working towards for years."  This week on the Spark Your Light Podcast, our topic of discussion will center around the idea that I realized just recently when we were able to buy and move-in to our first home:  Achieving goals is a paradox.  This is something that we have always been excited about, we have worked so hard for, and made a lot of sacrifices in order to be realized.  What I've realized is that moment of triumph can be so fleeting. As for me, I noticed that as soon as I achieved this goal, I was already onto another.  I was not really celebrating this goal that I had worked so hard to achieve, because I was already setting my sights on the next goal. The sad truth is, it is not a one-time thing but a recurring theme in my life.  In this episode, I will highlight the importance of celebrating the achievement of a goal, and remind everyone that it is possible to be present in the moment while still working towards a brand new goal. In fact, not only is it possible, it will be the reason why you will achieve your goals faster and with more joy and fulfillment.    If you enjoyed this episode, take a screenshot and tag me on your Instagram stories - @jaclyn__gallo Check out my new book: Stop Getting in Your Own Way   Need an extra set of eyes on your business to set it on fire?
