The Paris Accord | Coal Industry

from HearSay with Cathy Lewis · host WHRO Public Media

The United States recently pulled out of the Paris Climate Agreement (PCA), but major corporations, states, cities and small businesses remain committed to working towards the climate conservation goals set by 195 nations. In fact, Norfolk's mayor signed a letter of intent in June that ensures city efforts to comply with the global climate compact. We're examining the methods through which these institutions are able to work around the national decision, and how the PCA is impacting the coal industry. Tune in at noon on 89.5 WHRV-FM.
