The Party is Over!

from Failing Up · host Timothy Mahar

There longer are two political parties in this nation.  What was once the Republican Party of Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, Eisenhower, and the Bush's is now a movement called MAGA.  Oh yes, there are republican's in title that currently are the majority in the House and Senate, but make no mistake they are controlled by MAGA. They vote for self survival and not the interests of the nation.  On the other side there is no longer a Democratic party.  The party of FDR, Truman, JFK, LJB, Bobby (RFK ), Jimmy, Bill and Barack, has lost touch with the people that they fought for and were a part of.  They became, elite lecture's who lost communication and do not know how to get it back.  A group without  a message.  How appropriate that Independent voters will decide the future of this nation.  Independence Day!timothymahar.org
