from The Pausecast · host Rachael O'Meara || The Pausecast

In episode 29 of The Pausecast... Experience a "bluesky" pause guided by Erric - How to stop the ticker-tape mind - How Radically Happy happened with Phakchock Rinpoche - How being a lion and less like a dog helps you   - How Erric's buddhist background helps him pause - How to find meaning and avoid the struggle About Erric Solomon Erric Solomon is the co-author of Radically Happy: A User's Guide to the Mind. Throughout his career as a Silicon Valley technology entrepreneur and as an innovative meditation teacher, has been interested in understanding the mind and how it functions, both as a user-experience designer and as a mind hacker.  As a participant in the Logo Group at MIT’s Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, he interacted with some of the world’s deepest thinkers on how to make intelligent machines. This experience inspired a lifelong passion to understand the mind and how it functions, and it led Erric to the study of Buddhist theories of mind and the nature of consciousness. He has been an invited speaker to lead seminars and retreats in corporate settings—such as the WorldBank and Silicon Valley tech firms—as well as in prisons, temples, and Buddhist centers across the United States and Europe.
