The Pawnee Seed Saving Project with Deb Echo-Hawk

from The Good "Tu'i" Medicine Podcast

Hello everyone! I, unfortunately, had a terrible freak accident on April 10th and have not been able to post or conduct interviews for the show. But I should be back soon! I did have the honor to record and have Deb Echo-Hawk as a guest on the show to speak about the Pawnee Seed Preservation Project prior to the accident. Deb speaks about how the project all began, the people, and the seeds. Deb also talks about planting techniques that have been passed down by generations, and how climate change and its effects are changing their gardening methods. Other topics covered are Hugelkulter Technique, cross-pollination, berm hills, sunflower thickets, and seed sovereignty.Thank you Deb Echo-Hawk and all of the listeners. I really appreciate you all! ~ Pete Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
