They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky?Acts 2:1-4 NIVWhen the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place.Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.Matthew 3:16 NIVAs soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him. 1. At Pentecost we witness the birthplace of the church (Word + Spirit People).2. At Pentecost the Holy Spirit comes to rest on all believers (He Is With You).3. At Pentecost we received the enabling of the Holy Spirit (He Has Empowered You).  Isaiah 43:19 NIVSee, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.
