Peter Mallampalli is a seminarian for the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh in his fourth year of formation. He is the youngest of four siblings. His father was born in Andhra Pradesh, India and is a convert from Hinduism, and his mother is from Iowa and comes from an Irish-Catholic background. Peter co-founded Opus Novum Catholic Charismatic Renewal in 2018 at Duquesne University where he was in Air Force ROTC and studied Business Supply Chain Management. Two years later he spoke at the Jesus 2020 NSC conference as a guest panelist. He received a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2022 and currently studies at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. where he hopes to graduate with a Master of Divinity and a Sacred Theology Baccalaureate with a concentration in Hispanic ministry.
