The Penthouse Massacre
from Taylor Tailored Hosted by Taylor Tailored
Mexican Musician, Pregnant Wife and 3-Year-Old Daughter Bound and Shot Dead in Penthouse Massacre Mexican musician Jonathan Meléndez, his pregnant wife, their three-year-old daughter and a 21-year-old woman who worked for the family were killed inside an upscale penthouse outside Mexico City in an attack that has shocked the country. The family dog was also killed, while the couple’s six-year-old son was found alive and apparently physically unharmed inside the property. Two men were arrested within 12 hours of the killings, with investigators examining whether a relationship of trust between Meléndez and one of the suspects allowed access to the home. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum has since described the case as deeply sad and lamentable while offering federal support to the victims’ relatives.
