The people behind the local products found on grocery shelves near you matter to Joe Lowe and Hy-Vee

Sheletta is all about purposeful partnerships, especially during National Black Business Month. She and Joe Lowe (Store Manager at the Robbinsdale Hy-Vee) are going to be working together for a Small Business Saturday Showcase next week at the Robbinsdale Hy-Vee. The event takes place on August 9th, from 8am-12pm and it will feature a number of Black Entrepreneurs and their products that will be on their shelves. Sheletta and Joe talk about the whys behind events/partnerships like this and what they believe it generates among customers and the community. Joe emphasizes the demand and openness his store has in meeting with small business owners who are looking to sell their products on Hy-Vee’s stores.
