Thank you for listening to the People First Podcast.People First is a self-advocacy group run by, and for, people with learning disabilities, and the People First Podcast is our platform to raise awareness about the real issues that affect people with learning disabilities in our community, and all over the world. We aim to inform and entertain our listeners by interviewing interesting guests and talking about the things that really matter to us. This is like having a stage, to speak out and get our voices heard. We have recently rebranded and relaunched our radio show, Real Talk Radio, as a Podcast and on the first episode of the podcast you will hear some of the best bits from previous shows including a discussion about hate crime, some information about cyber security and an interesting chat about the history of the Paralympics. You will also hear a poem that our staff and members wrote about the Covid 19 pandemic, with music courtesy of JuliusH from Pixabay (Piano Chill) Please rate our podcast and leave a review!
