The People of the Mist Chapter 6 - The Tale of Soa

In which Soa recounts the tragic tale of her mistress Juanna, known as the Shepherdess of Heaven, who is captured by the dreaded slave-trader Pereira, and beseeches Leonard for aid in her rescue, revealing the promise of great reward. Leonard, despite his weakened state and solitary condition, contemplates the perilous journey ahead as he learns from his servant Otter the nature of the hidden lair where Juanna is held captive.
