The People VS the Town of Rocky Mount with Phillip Bane

from The Appalachian Podcast · host William Riddle

In this show we get down to brass tacks and put on our comedic twist,  as we bring on Phillip Bane, local entrepreneur and candidate for Rocky Mount Town Council. More importantly, he's dealt with multiple, unnecessary, roadblocks by the town that has prohibited him from moving forward with his boutique hotel (The Morris Hotel), that would almost certainly breathe new life into a dying downtown area. With that we also get into absurd salaries of town employees, information from FOIA requests, wasted tax dollars, bogus litigation, the Harvester hemorrhaging money, and much more. The time to start focusing on local corruption is now. Pay attention, ask questions, and think critically. As always we appreciate the support so please like, share, and leave us a review. http://www.patreon.com/getontaphttps://www.appalachianpodcast.orghttps://www.facebook.com/AppalachianPodcasthttps://twitter.com/GetOnTaphttps://www.instagram.com/theappalachianpodcast/Support the show
