The People's Project Season 6 Episode 4: VIC Health System in Crisis

This week's episode of The People's Project is a dedicated special on the Health System Crisis in Victoria, Australia. We will be hearing what it's like on the inside of: Ambulance Victoria ESTA (000 call centre) Victoria Police Monash Health hospitals  both before and during Covid. Tonight's panel is full of highly experienced emergency workers who have not only lost their jobs because of vaccine mandates, they no longer want to return to the health system they have witnessed from the inside to be massively underfunded and over governed to the detriment of patient-centric care and evidence-based medicine. With the state Premier throwing money at the problem ($3,000 winter bonus, dependent on staying employed over that period) everyone is asking: why is our health system so broken? Is it always this bad during winter? Is Covid-19 to blame? Are vaccine adverse events to blame? Are staff shortages caused by vaccine mandates and isolation rules?
