The Perioperative Quality Initiative | EBPOM 2023

The Perioperative Quality Initiative (POQI) is an international, multidisciplinary non-profit organization that organizes consensus conferences on topics of interest related to perioperative medicine with the aim of improving patient care. This piece is an exclusive chance to hear how and why The POQI strives towards a broader perspective and the value of not existing within an echo chamber. It was originally part of The Evidence Based Perioperative Medicine (EBPOM 2023) World Congress in London.
