The Person of the Gospel Part 11 - The Ministry of Reconcilation

Paul says in Corinthians we have been given the Ministry of Reconciliation.  What is that?  "That God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself." What is the true nature of the Ministry Reconciliation.  I believe Paul gives us the answer or a look into the answer in Romans 5. Rom 5:10 "For if, while we were enemies, we were reconciled to God through the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, shall we be saved by his life;  11 and not only so, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation." At the cross, I believe Jesus brought mankind to himself.  "If I be lifted up from the world I will draw all men to myself"  However, that does not mean they automatically come to His Life.  He said now is the time when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and they that hear shall live.  He is not just talking about the dead bodies in graves but the ALL the dead that are in Adam.  Those that hear are those who hear and believe.  Those who actively receive Him and COME TO HIS LIFE! It is His Life that saves us, delivers us, makes us whole.  His Life is what brings us into a brand new creation where sin and darkness does not rule us, but Christ Jesus the Lord is our Life.  He is to me salvation.  How much of the well of salvation I drink from is measured by how much of CHRIST I know by the Spirit of God.   Now this knowing is for every heart that will turn TO HIM!  He will guide you into all TRUTH!  Glory to God!
