The Pfizer Clinical Trial and the Road to Success with Lalit Bajaj, MD, Erin Sandene, and Eric Simoes, MD (S5:E32)

The FDA and CDC signed off on the use of this vaccine after a historic clinical trial demonstrated it was both safe and effective. Children's Hospital Colorado had the privilege to advance the use of the COVID-19 vaccine by becoming the largest supersite for Pfizer's clinical trial. Today, we are going to hear from some of my colleagues who worked tirelessly and ultimately paved the way for the EUA for children ages 5-11 in November 2021.   Lalit Bajaj is the Chief Quality officer here at Children's Hospital Colorado, Erin Sandene is the Director of Research operations and Administration, and Eric Simoes is an Infectious Disease expert here at Children's and professor of pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.
