The Physician's Perspective | Week 4 | There's Hope with the Healer

Week four of "The Physician's Perspective" welcomes Lance Lang, Founder of Hope is Alive, an addiction recovery program. He shares from Luke 5, the story of a paralyzed man brought to Jesus by his friends, who were so desperate for his healing that they tore off the roof of a house to lower him down before Jesus. He illustrates how Jesus told the man to take his mat as a symbol of his past struggles, which now serves as a testimony to God's healing power. We are encouraged to embrace our past, even the painful or shameful parts, as a "mat" that can be used to show others God's transformative power and grace. Listen and be challenged. Support the show
