The All Blacks faced their first test of the season and the French certainly showed up despite reports that the real French team were still in France. Jeff Wilson and Piri Weepu take us back to their beginnings with the All Blacks. With a number of players making their All Blacks debut the pair reveal what it is really like to get the call that you’ve made the team and how the veterans react to the new kids on the block. We look back at that All Blacks vs France clash and try and see what we can learn from it. Were the French better than we thought, or were the ABs a little rusty? There were also a number of other teams involved on the weekend, which player did Jeff Wilson call one of the best in the world based on their latest performance?
