The Pierced Heart

This meditation invites us to contemplate the wounded heart of Christ as a sure refuge for our own brokenness and a source of healing grace for others. Drawing upon St Josemaría and Pope Francis’s teachings, we are challenged to examine our sincerity in Confession, moving beyond mere appearances to cultivate a truly contrite heart. By uniting our daily struggles to the cross, let us ask our Lord for the grace to respond to those who hurt us not with bitterness, but with a meek, authentic, and forgiving love.
