On January 4, 2025, two police officers from Kannapolis, North Carolina, pulled over a vehicle at a traffic stop. When an officer opened the passenger door and explained that they were going to arrest him, he allegedly pulled a handgun from his jacket and pointed it in the direction of the officer.
