The Place we call Home - Audio

Where do you call home? What exactly is “home?” It is so much more than just a house or a place. I think home is place where we know we belong. A place where we are welcome no matter what, and they have to let us in no matter how messed up we are! Home should be a place where we celebrate life together and where we experience great joy because it is a place where we are loved and cared for. Home should be a place where we go at Christmas and we join together in joyous and happy celebration! Of course, the home you lived in as a child may not have been such a place. For some people, home was anything but a happy place. And no earthly home can fulfill or live up to all of our longings for what home should be!
