They were introduced to Avalara a few years after Track 1099 was established. Avalara approached them again after 11 years in business and expressed interest in purchasing the company. Avalara invests in highly profitable businesses with strong management. As a result, everything fell into place perfectly. It seemed like the appropriate time to join Avalara because Track 1099 was an established company with a decent product set, reputable clients, and a terrific staff.
