The Plantagenet Queens consort were: Berengaria of Navarre Isabella of Angoulême Eleanor of Provence Eleanor of Castile Margaret of France Isabella of France Philippa of Hainault The lives of the many Kings and handful of Queens Regnant who have held dominion over the kingdom of England, and later the United Kingdom take center stage in history. But the lives of their spouses and mothers are often relegated to the wings. In this series we will learn the stories of the many Queens Consort and the handful of male consorts who have been at the monarchs’ sides.
