Not enough films nowadays have a strong message while being so unique and entertaining. However, this film delivers as we follow Goreng, a man who has volunteered to spend 6 months in "The Hole" in exchange for a college diploma. What he does not know is The Hole is a vertical prison with a level you must spend one month on, and a platform of food that lowers for one minute each day. Depending on the level determines how much food you will have causing many below a certain level to fend for themselves in horrific ways.
